Network for Ethnic Monitoring and Early Warning (EAWARN) is an independent expert organization founded in 1993 on the basis of the Institute for Ethnology and Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IEA RAS). In 1999, EAWARN was registered as a regional non-government organization. Its goal is to monitor the situation in ethnic policy in the Russian Federation and other post-Soviet states.
