Ethnic Relations and Conflict, an annual report, has been published since 1999. In addition to analytical articles on the situation in the states and regions monitored, annual reports include review articles on the most pertinent general questions in ethnic politics, intercultural interaction, modern demographical processes, etc.. In the report, there is also a conflict rating for states and regions, based on the application of an indicator system modeled on ethnological monitoring.
In addition to EAWARN experts, the report is authored by leading Russian political scientists, ethnographers, and anthropologists.
